Estuary Fishing: Calm water fishing so close to Cairns is an ideal half day experience. These trips take in the natural mangrove habitat area which is prolific with a wonderful variety of fish and world acclaimed bird life, and the occasional saltwater crocodile.

Chase the spectacular fighting fish the Barramundi, Grunter, Bream, Salmon, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Queenfish using light or ultra light tackle. Our expert fishing guides are specialists in the local area and are equipped with fast vessels custom designed for the local conditions.

River Fishing: Travel in 4WD comfort to one of our magnificent World Heritage listed tropical rainforest rivers including the Daintree, Johnstone, Russell or Mulgrave rivers. Includes all tackle, bait, light refreshments, tea, coffee, soft drinks as well as lunch and transfers. Targets include grunter, queenfish, salmon, fingermark, mangrove jacks, trevally, flathead, cod and barra. River fishing is renowned for usually producing better quality fish. Minimum 4 and maximum 6 anglers per vessel. Pick up at approximately 7.00am from Cairns and Beaches accommodation, and returning approximatelty 6.00pm. (Port Douglas options vary slightly).

Whatever method you prefer to fish we have the boats and crews who specialise whether it is casting lures, trolling rigged baits, lures and livies or perhaps join the trend towards saltwater flyfishing for Billfish or casting poppers for Trevally.
